Nature Calling: Dawn After Night, Spring After Winter 

‘Dawn After Night, Spring After Winter’ is an inspiring project made by artists David Blandy & Daniel Locke commissioned by Surrey Hills Arts, to make an evocative game publication of local mythologies and the natural world that will take players through two different inspiring nature trails.

This project is part of Nature Calling, the first national programme of new art commissions by the National Landscapes Association. Its aim is to connect and deepen engagement with the landscape, and to listen to our communities, ensuring our landscapes are a place for everyone.

Location:
The first trail will start at the National Trust’s Box Hill ’s Natural Play Trail in the Surrey Hills and the other is at Hutchinson’s Bank, a London Wildlife Trust nature reserve near the residential community of New Addington in Croydon.
