Above are page examples of a publication I produced during a solo residency I was selected for at Saint Martin of Tours Housing Association in Islington in 2010.
Saint Martins specializes in providing care and homes for people with mental illness. I was placed in a unit within the organization that cares for individuals who have a history of violent crime. Over the course of three months I got to know some of the men and recorded their daily lives and personal histories in drawings and text.
The residency culminated in the printing and free distribution of my collected drawings as part of the Islington Exhibits art festival.
